Nohelia Rambal recommends…
This month’s recommendations come from Plus Member Nohelia Rambal, Founder & CEO of Goodfind.io, the sustainable brand directory, helping conscious consumers find ethical alternatives to everyday products, services and things to do!
I’m part of a local book club (yes, they still exist!) and we’re reading Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid. I’m really enjoying seeing the world from the eyes of Emira (main character), a young black woman in Philadelphia, while she navigates different racial, class, and social dynamics. Extremely relevant read to everyone who wants to educate themselves on what might feel to be a minority ethnic person and specifically a black woman in today’s society.
I love Courier Weekly’s podcast; they have amazing guests and a very sharp host. They seem to be having a break, but I’ve learnt a lot from each episode by listening to the struggles and experiences of founders and CEOs of successful startups and scaleups.
As a solo entrepreneur, Zapier has been game changing. For those who don’t know it, it makes different tools like Google Sheets, HubSpot, CMS platforms (and many others) “talk to each other”– without having to code a thing! It’s so easy to use, and it lets me automate tasks that otherwise would need doing manually, it makes my life so much easier!
The DTC newsletter is hands off the best curated source of very smart marketing and growth hacks. Don’t expect sleek or cool, but pure great content with relatable case studies, tips and actionable recommendations for those trying to market a direct-to-consumer product or service.
