Our values

At the core of FutureX is our values. They guide our decision making and underpin everything we do.

Letter E

Empowering

People are at the heart of everything we do

By empowering those around us to be the best they can be, we give them license to flourish.

We champion and collaborate with those who are creating purposeful change. Through compassion and empathy, we empower the people around us to succeed in everything they do.

Letter P

Pioneering

The world needs new pathways for success.

We challenge convention, and we are curious about new solutions to old problems. ‘This is how it’s always been done’ isn’t cutting it any more. Business is not black and white, so our solutions can’t be either.

Pushing convention and traditional practices means that we don’t get it right all of the time. We lead by example: we are transparent about our decisions and when things don’t go to plan, and we use our experiences and learning to adapt our work and do better next time

Letter S

Sustainable

We strive for sustainability in everything we do: for people, planet and profit.

We believe in a sustainable economy, capable of supporting the growth and requirements of people and planet. We celebrate profit, but not at any cost.

From the materials we choose and how we design events to who we choose to work with, our actions are guided by a desire to leave the planet in a better state than we found it.

Sustainability isn't an all or nothing game. When we fall short, we hold ourselves accountable, are transparent about our mistakes and strive to do better next time.

Letter I

Inclusive

In diversity there is strength in ideas, innovation and change.

FutureX is an international community, and we welcome all people.

We challenge our assumptions of what we believe is possible, and we know that sometimes there is more than one way to solve a problem. We are open to ideas that differ from our own, and all opinions are considered equally without judgement.

We consider our conscious and unconscious biases when making decisions.

In contrast, the meteoric rise of automation and digitisation has opened concerns about data protection and privacy, ethical innovation.
