What information do we collect?

The information you give us in our forms (including all enquiries on the Website and application forms hosted on Typeform) may include but are not limited to your name, email address, phone number and your message to us. Depending on the purpose of the form, we may also require financial information from you. The data is also managed by the following third parties: Typeform, Stripe. You are responsible to review their privacy policies.

You may be required to enter into correspondence with us by phone, email or otherwise in order to book a place at one of our events. We will require certain information about you such as contact details and billing information to process your booking. Our emails are hosted by Google Mail Service and Google Cloud Services and are subject to their terms and conditions. Event bookings go through Eventbrite and Paypal and you are responsible to review all third party policies.

You can register for FutureX newsletter on the Website. This is entirely optional and you may unsubscribe at any time. Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you. Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR. We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time. Currently our EMS provider is Mailchimp. We hold the following information about you within our EMS system: Email address, I.P address, Subscription time & date, details about marketing activity (such as number of opens and clicks).

Job opportunities
In order to apply for job opportunities advertised on our website, you are required to sign up via a contact form and/or a Typeform application. This may require the disclosure of your contact details and other personal information contained in your CV (such as employment history and qualifications). This information will be treated confidentially, and is only processed for the purpose of considering your job application. Records will be deleted after a reasonable amount of  time and we will not contact you for any matter after that time has passed. The data is also managed by the following third party: Typeform. Volunteering opportunities
In order to apply for volunteering opportunities advertised on our website, you are required to sign up via a contact form and/or a Typeform application. This may require the disclosure of your contact details and other personal information contained in your CV (such as employment history and qualifications). This information will be treated confidentially, and is only processed for the purpose of considering your volunteering application. Please note that due to our seasonal activity, we may contact you for other volunteering or jobs opportunities. If you want to stop being contacted, you can simply let us know. Technical information

FutureX Innovation Ltd only share very little of your information with other individuals and organisations that we employ or work with to perform functions in certain situations on our behalf. Examples of these functions include handling credit card transactions, accounting or providing careers and employment services. These agents have access to the personal information required to perform their functions, but may not use it for any other purpose. This may also in certain circumstances involve the transfer of your information abroad however we will not transfer your information outside the European Economic Area without first ensuring that an adequate level of protection is in place.

Partner organisations
FutureX Innovation Ltd sometimes work with partner organisations such as F6S to deliver specific programmes. We may share information with those partner organisations but we will let you know before you agree. Please see the specific programme’s terms to learn more.

We will release personal information where we are required to by law or by the regulations and other rules (including auditing requirements) to which we are subject. We may also exchange information with other companies and organisations for the prevention and detection of crime, fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Photo and Video 

When you attend a FutureX Event, Programme or partner event or programme, you should be aware that images may be captured using film photography, digital photography, video or other mediums. We reserve the right to use the images captured in any brochures, booklets, videos, websites or other media and publicity material produced by us. By taking part in our events you accept that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise captured in image form.
